So, what do ARUK do, then?

The Team.
Dawn Stead initially founded Haunted Yorkshire Paranormal Research Group, (back in 2005) but after a few years, felt that the group's name at that time, might hinder people with UFO and cryptid reports. Also, frequently, the group seemed to move more into the subject of UFOs and associated phenomena, and not so much doing "Ghost Hunting" any more.
It was in 2009 that Dawn started a new group, with a new name, although they still have the HYPR Haunted Yorkshire Paranormal Research website up, to this day.
ARUK - which stands for Anomaly Researchers UK, was born!
Dawn has been involved in all aspects of conducting an investigation, from field research, setting up equipment, through to website design for the group, writing up investigation reports, reviewing footage, & interviewing witnesses.
In her personal life, she has worked professionally as a private investigator, and later on in life, as a security and loss prevention/CCTV operator for a large multinational company.
Andy Smith: Field investigator and technical adviser within the group. Interests in photography, technology, astronomy. Interest in the unexplained, started in 2009.
